The incorporation of Antimicrobial Agents and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) into PU foam dressings during the manufacturing process represents a significant advancement from traditional topical applications.
ATD emolda has developed the ability to functionalise medical PU foams with a range of antimicrobial agents and APIs while maintaining the foam function within an advanced woundcare dressing (i.e. high absorption, retention and fluid handling capability).
We have also successfully incorporated novel antimicrobials, cosmetic agents such as vitamins, collagen, hyaluronic acid, keratin, APIs such as analgesics for targeted pain relief.
